In brief:
Day 1: Meet your guides and fellow travelers over cocktails and dinner.
Day 2-4: Backcountry hiking and camping through Sardinia's wilderness. 3-5 hours of hiking each day, fantastic views of the sea, massive natural rock formations, Ovile (shepherd's home), country church of San Pietro, Abyss of Golgo with walls of 300m. (985 ft.)deep, seaside dining, secluded beaches and traditional Sardinian meals.
ROUTE: Cala Friuli to Cala Luna. Cala Luna to Cala Sisine. Cala Sisine to Altopiano di Golgo.
Day 5: Hike down to one of the most esquisite beaches in Sardinia, Cala Goloritze. Photograph (or climb!) La Guglia, a 145 m. (475 ft.) rock jetting up into the sky. Back to civilization in the afternoon for hotel check in. Dinner served at your leisure.
Day 6: Guided tour of the Complesso di San Salvatore; archeological sites and ruins dating back to 3500 BC.
Day 7: Fun cooking class with Sardinian women combined with an authentic Sardinian barbecue for the creation of the most unforgettable "Last Supper."
Day 8: Savor that Italian cappuccino before departure to the International Airport of Olbia.
